| Two of the most sought after and rarest to find items ever produced by Department 56 are a pair of papier-mâché dolls known as Allison & Duncan (#7730-5). Each doll stands 18 ½ - 19 inches tall and was introduced as a set of two (s/2) into the Snowbabies line in 1988 and retired in 1989. The Suggested Retail Price (SRP) was $200 for the pair. | ||||||||||||||
| With hand-painted features and blue eyes, they are very lifelike in appearance. Each doll is dressed in Victorian-styled, pale-yellow snow suits with white fur trim and satin ribbons. They are free-standing with attached papier-mâché snow boots and were prominently displayed in the Department 56 showrooms in 1989. To date, they are the only dolls to be produced in the line. | ||||||||||||||
